The Raley’s Companies has launched an in-store retail media network with Grocery TV across 208 stores in California, Nevada and Arizona, the company said on Wednesday. The network will appear in Raley’s, Bel Air, Nob Hill, Bashas’ Food City and AJ’s Fine Foods stores through in-store screens intended to deliver advertising and product messaging to shoppers at the point of purchase.
The launch expands Raley’s retail media operations, which focus on in-store and digital advertising aimed at influencing shopper purchasing decisions.
“Our retail media business has been evolving quickly, and in-store was the clear next step,” Zac Wilson, vice president of digital commerce for The Raley’s Companies, said in a statement. Wilson said the company had previously focused on digital advertising and first-party data and is now extending those efforts into physical stores.
