Kroger union members across 38 stores voted against the grocery chain’s offer and have authorized a strike.

Vote were tallied Friday, March 1, 2024, where the final tally came to 1,375 to 214 in favor of rejecting Kroger’s offer before voting 1,347 to 229 in favor of a strike. While members voted in favor of a strike, a work stoppage will not happen immediately. The bargaining committee can call a strike at any time.
